Returning to clay
I am a ceramic artist based in Leeds, UK. I have always enjoyed drawing, making and painting.
Growing up I attended pottery sessions in Devon with a fabulous local potter, throwing pots on the wheel and dabbling a little in hand building (but wheel throwing was always my preferred vice!).
My ceramics journey paused when I left Devon to head to University in Leeds and only started again about a decade later, after making Yorkshire my permanent home.
In 2024 I took up pottery again and have loved experimenting with form and decoration ever since.
My designs are inspired by geometric shapes and patterns, sometimes referencing board games and even fantasy such as the Lord of the Rings inspired artwork.
I hope you get some joy and inspiration from my work and thank you for visiting my site!
